Central Utah to implement fire restictions.

Due to rapidly increasing fire danger and recent wildfire activity, interagency fire managers are implementing Stage 1 Fire Restrictions beginning July 12 at 12:01 a.m. on all federal, unincorporated Private, and State lands in Millard, Sevier, Wayne, Piute, Garfield, Juab (excluding Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest), Sanpete (excluding Manti-La Sal National Forest), and Beaver counties (including Fishlake National Forest, Beaver Ranger District). Incorporated cities and towns are not included. Please contact your local fire department or County Fire Warden for specific private land fire restrictions.

Town History

In 1869, two prospectors found waterfalls (including the world famous Bullion Creek Falls which our logo comes from), gold and the mysterious remains of an old arrastra (possibly Spanish in origin) and the Bullion Canyon gold rush began. Marysvale was also at the end of the historic Denver and Rio Grand Railroad making Marysvale both a railroad and gold mining town. Farming and ranching have been important to the community for over 100 years.

Citizens are encouraged to attend Town Council and Planning & Zoning Meetings at the Marysvale Community Building 215 N 100 E Marysvale UT ; all are welcome.

The town council normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Marysvale Community Building 215 N 100 E Marysvale UT .

Planning and Zoning Committee normally meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Marysvale Community Building 215 N 100 E Marysvale UT
